Booking a consultation is simple. Visit our website at www.myvirtualclinic.net, select the type of consultation you need, and choose a suitable time. You’ll receive confirmation and instructions for the video consultation via email.

3. What conditions do you treat?

  • Women's Health: Led by our GP, we offer consultations for issues like menstrual disorders, menopause, and general health concerns.

  • Men’s Health: Our pharmacist prescribers address issues such as sexual health, prostate concerns, and other male-specific conditions.

  • Mental Health: We provide support for anxiety, depression, and stress management.

  • Minor Ailments: We manage conditions like cold, flu, infections, and skin issues.

4. How much do consultations cost?

  • Women’s Health (GP-led): £100 for a 30-minute consultation.

  • Men’s Health, Mental Health, Minor Ailments (Pharmacist Prescriber-led): £40 for a 20-minute consultation.

5. What happens during a video consultation?

During your video consultation, the healthcare professional will discuss your symptoms, review your medical history, and suggest appropriate treatments or prescriptions. If needed, they can also refer you to specialists or recommend further tests.

6. Can I get prescriptions from MyVirtualClinic?

Yes. If your consultation leads to a prescription, it will be sent electronically to your nearest pharmacy for you to collect.

7. Is my data secure?

Absolutely. MyVirtualClinic complies with UK regulations, including the GDPR, ensuring that your personal and medical data is securely handled and stored. We use the Semble system to document clinical notes and manage patient records, which meets industry standards for data protection.

8. Do you accept insurance?

Currently, MyVirtualClinic operates on a self-pay model. We do not accept insurance, but the cost of our services is kept affordable, ensuring high-quality care for everyone.

9. What if I need urgent care?

MyVirtualClinic is not suitable for medical emergencies. If you require urgent or emergency care, please contact 999 or visit your nearest A&E department.

10. How do I prepare for my video consultation?

Make sure you have a stable internet connection and a quiet, private space for your consultation. You may want to have any relevant medical information, such as your list of current medications, to hand.

11. Are follow-up consultations available?

Yes. After your initial consultation, if a follow-up is required, your healthcare professional will arrange this with you directly.

12. What technology do I need for my consultation?

You will need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone. Our consultations are conducted via a secure video conferencing platform that is easy to use.

13. Can I use MyVirtualClinic if I’m outside the UK?

No, our services are only available to patients within the UK due to licensing and regulatory requirements.
